AHS 1,440 #1 Posted August 17, 2021 What models do the key switches fit? The C series? What is the wiring diagram? The issue is, 70 Raider 12 (updated) regular round coil. The key switch had a solenoid built into it… threw that away. Bought a 103990, and regular solenoid that mounts on the motor. Yes AHS those 70A switches actually worked quite well and I have a 857 & 867 with the original on it and works quite well for 54 years old! The return to run spring usually gives out on them. And other side to it is; that the key switch is made in the USA, and there made back in the 60’s (when everything was pretty much near bulletproof!) AND Wheelhorse used the key switch! (That alone means it’s tougher than nails!). Yes, I thought it was the wrong key switch. That key switch will probably still start tractors in 2031 when the 10 year old solenoid is fried!😀🇺🇸 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Died at the very end and had to be pushed into the shed where it sits 60 miles away. Won't turn over and I suspect clutch pedal safety start switch because it's always been a little Sketchy. If your tractor has an ammeter check it's connections.
