slim67 2,735 #1 Posted August 16, 2021 Good evening all. Can anyone give me their opinion on what this Onan is worth? It’s missing the coil and the guy I got it from was told by previous owner, “ it did run”. I bought the tractor for some other parts and will also be selling the Eaton too. I did a compression test and got about 115-117 on each cylinder. It’s not a brand name tester like Lisle but one from autozone so it should be close. I’d like to put in Redsquares classified section first before marketplace. I would appreciate anyone’s input. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Bill D 1,891 #4 Posted August 16, 2021 It's worth about $50 as is. How many hours in the tractor? The forward swept front end is worth about $250 with the gear reduction steering, if it has it. Here is a pic so you guys see what I’m dealing with. It has 742 hours on it by the way. I’m just trying to recuperate a little of what I paid for it ( which wasn’t much). Day job for that but still nice to break even in a hobby. Still always nice to make some friends. I have no idea how they can get that on fleabay .... slim67 2,735 #13 Posted August 20, 2021 I sold the Onan to a young man who will be putting it into an old John Deere skid steer. I paid myself back for the price of the tractor and got a lot of parts. I now have to strip it down to the transaxle. That will be for sale soon. What is a fair price for that?
