peter lena 9,092 #53 Posted May 20, 2024 @Racinbob nice pick up ! first thing I notice , is the wide bearing grease side shields , what could you possibly do ? small pocket flat screwdriver , or small flat putty knife , carefully remove seals . carb cleaner flush out , LUCAS HD GREEN CHASSIS GREASE , why ? 550 deg drop point , polyurea rated , stands up to brutality , that idler pulley , shuttle box lubrication detailing , will make a huge difference , also LUCAS MARINE GREASE , 570 deg , drop point , do a functional detailing at every stage , trust nothing , like your PTO LEVER STARTING POINT , firm it up , spacers / lubricant , might even adda HEIM joint to the end of rod connection , change out the trunnion , very smooth / solid , pete Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
