Looking for a decent car repair shop in the York Beach Maine area

Hi all,

Hope this is ok to post and in the right area.  My mom, brother, and niece are at York Beach, Maine on vacation for the week.  I just heard from them a little while ago and the brakes in her car started metal on metal grinding.  She thinks it's the back pads that are gone.  She was going to rent a car till Saturday when they come home, but my dad suggested finding a Meineke or Midas brake shop to have them done.  Just wondering if anyone knows of any shops that could stick a pair of pads in for her for a reasonable price so she can get around for the week and then make it back home in MA about 2 hours from there?  Just want to get it so she can get back home and my dad or I can redo the brakes when she get home.             Thanks in advance,  Stewart

I don't know York too too well, but Brown's service station, just off the Wells exit, can generally turn things around pretty quick .. I would know, I work part time there.

Can't hurt to call. Sure there's a handful of other shops in the area too.

My dad called her early this morning and gave her the name of the place that @Stepney recommended.  I talked to her about 930 and she was there at Brown's waiting for them to get the new pads plus a rotor and caliper in so they could fix it.  She should be all set early this afternoon to enjoy the rest of her vacation.  Thanks for the help.            Stewart
