to Bondo or not to Bondo

I think as long as you keep it very thin you are good. 

 

Bondo gets a bad rap not because it is a bad product. It gets a bad rap because it is improperly used.

Just like accordions get bad rap because some players mangle “Lady of Spain”--repeatedly!

My Brother in Law was the "King of Bondo" I was redoing an Allis "B" for my Dad. The tunnel was in bad shape and my B-I-L says "I'll fill in this side." So he mixes up way more than he needs. I tell him to not to put too much on. But he says "I don't want to waste it" :rolleyes: So he puts a crap ton on. Then sands it all down. I told him the bondo he didn't want to waste is now a pile of dust on the floor!
