ebinmaine 67,498 #2 Posted August 3, 2021 Is that the 4 standard carriage bolts holding the wheels together with a piece of PVC between?

Possibly, that idea from what I recall originated with @SylvanLakeWH and “The WHRat WHrecker” around RedSquare. Still the only one I’ve seen personally and they work great! Those ones above, look like wheel blanks for the liters with simple tabs welded on.

IDK it doesn't say but looks like metal. Touts them as custom made to order. 1 hour ago, pullstart said: looks like wheel blanks for the outers with simple tabs welded on For sure. I like how deep that side view, have to get a small kid to climb in there to start the lugs when wheels are assembled. 1

No kid but pretty small. If'n I were to do this I'd bolt the wheels to the LUG BOLTS like any tractor should have then use the carriage bolts to attach the second wheel set.

They do work great… easy too… cut 12” pvc pipe with a circular saw. Very solid. If I recall, The WHrat WHrecker’s are 2” wide… @pullstart has the rest of the 12” pvc pipe… I’m thinking business opportunity… can you say duality spacer kits? ebinmaine 67,498 #7 Posted August 4, 2021 I've thought several times of doing a dually tractor but can't figure out how to justify it. Other than coolness factor of course.

Combining tires, wheels, and the dual adapter set, to add another set of skins would be $400 - $500.

Truth be told about the only time they might be of use is working & using a ground engaging implement in a muddy garden. Maybe turfs & mowing on a slick slope??? No benefit other than the cool factor having them on the fronts but is is different just to say I did that. 5 3
Zeek 2,286 #12 Posted August 4, 2021 Funny I just saw these adapters on fleabay yesterday. Kind of pricey and not my thing, but I guess it's a quick way to do it.

Had this biker friend 40 years ago that drove one of those choppers. He wheeled up one day, dismounted the leaned backed bicycle sized seat, straightened his back out and said "man what you got to do to look cool!" Cool is always Cool!
