mnWHfan 47 #1 Posted August 3, 2021 I need help identifying a Wheel Horse that my Uncle has acquired. We were not able to find a serial number tag or a decal with the model number on it. It has a Linamar engine in it that looks like an Onan.

kpinnc 12,088 #4 Posted August 3, 2021 Yep- First guess would be an early 520-H. Full guage dash, 20hp Onan.
Pullstart 62,912 #5 Posted August 3, 2021 Looks like it has good bones... and at least one chrome hubcap!
Chaz54 57 #6 Posted August 3, 2021 By the style of the hydro knob, it’s a 1988. 1989 had a round shift knob.

Lee1977 6,666 #10 Posted August 3, 2021 I was checking out Linamar engines and found some had trouble at start up had to keep the choke on until it warm up. John Deere used some in 318's and had the carburetor kit as it was one of the things that was different from the Onan.
