I used a 2-1/2 exhaust clamp, (napa or somewhere like that) to put around the axle. And welded a super strong, but pliable piece of steel rod, which I heated and bent. It is not touching the belt until I press the clutch, then the belt touches the rod, and stops immediately. I also did this on different pulleys to see if anything changes, same results with a 7,2,5, or 8 inch pulley. Works awesome. Don

WheelHorse520H 708 #54 Posted August 27, 2021 (edited) Love the design Don, simple and gets the job done. Only problem is I don’t have a welder. I’ll figure it out. I never thought of putting some pegs at the tranny, I just have some on the engine block that one of the POs put there. 7 hours ago, Snoopy11 said: And yes guys, I have my dozer blade back on for fall, leaves are starting... ugh... Don I agree, summer was too short this year. Comedian Jim Gaffigan did a whole thing about fall and the leaves. Sorry, I know this is off topic but he made some very interesting points about what we do. Video Edited August 27, 2021 by WheelHorse520H
