AHS 1,443 #1 Posted July 25, 2021 Ok, my seal behind my tranny pulley is leaking. I have an extra pulley. What size Allen wrench is it? 5/32??
stevasaurus 22,862 #2 Posted July 25, 2021 Make sure the hole is clean and use the one that fits. You can change out the seal once you get the pulley off. Seal should be SKF #6105.
squonk 41,321 #3 Posted July 25, 2021 There could be 2 Allen screws in 1 hole in that pulley.Be sure to check.
8ntruck 7,082 #4 Posted July 26, 2021 My pulley came loose recently. I tightened the set screw, but, lacking a second set screw on top of it, the pulley is loose again.

If you don't the point of the 2nd screw will enter the hex hole in the 1st and flair the top of the 1st screw so tight in the threads it can not be removed in the future. AHS 1,443 #6 Posted July 27, 2021 Thank you! I want to know the size of the Allen screw head? Is it 5/32? Cause I need to buy a long Allen wrench.
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,094 #7 Posted July 27, 2021 1/4" set screws use 1/8" Allen wrench. Garry
