Hi Stormin,firstly thanks for the welcome.The car in my profile pic is indeed a Standard,a 1947 Flying Eight tourer,one of a few Standards I have owned over the past 10 years,the others being a 1936 Flying 12 beetle back,a1937 flying 10,a 1948 Flying 14.I don’t have any of them now,but my current fleet comprises a 1947 Rover Fourteen P2,a 1957 Morris 1000,a 1957 Austin a50 Cambridge and a1972 Triumph Herald 13/60 which is nearing a complete restoration.Plenty to keep me busy in my old age!

  'Ow do, Zook. Nice collection you have. Quite a few of the lads on here are into old cars, trucks etc. You'll have to tell us more about yours and photo's.

  I've owned in the distant past a '66 Morris 1000 Traveller, '60 A60 van and a '66 Herald.

 Thanks for the photo's. The Rover is the dogs whatsits. That I would like to own. Poor old Wheel Horse looks a bit forlorn.

Admittedly she is looking rough but goes great and has a 42 inch so deck as well as wheel horse twin bag collector.This winter I will give it the same tlc the cars all got when I found them.
