kpinnc 12,049 #1 Posted July 9, 2021 (edited) So we moved about three years ago, and I've not had a decent shop ever since. I have my old utility building, but it still isn't set up right. I've had no choice but to take over the garage (our trucks won't fit in it anyway) and it just isn't the same. No 220 AC, and only a couple 110 outlets to work with. No work bench and no welding table at all. So today I built a welding table. My wife took a picture while I was welding it standing upright, and asked me what it was. I told her it was Shark Week, and I was building my own cage. She shook her head and went back inside. But it turned out great. 6 feet long, 2 feet wide and 38 inches tall. All 1/4 inch steel, and set on casters. Now I can at least work, then move it and clean up, and set back up easily. I may drop some plywood in the bottom and put my welder in there. I have a 3x5 table I built but some genius put it in the back of the shipping container. I do not have any power at all. Have to go down to a friend’s house and use his 220v for my welder which stays in his garage for the time being. Hope to remedy this soon.
