Duckthumper 6 #1 Posted July 6, 2021 I saw this thread on an old post here that was asking about this cultivator. At the time most thought it may have been a modified AC-6. I have come across another near identical cultivator. So this tells me this is not a modified cultivator but a brand someone was making. Has anyone ever figured our who made these. I want to restore this one to original, but have no info on color or other background information. Any help appreciated.

Lane Ranger 10,947 #5 Posted July 6, 2021 (edited) Hard to tell from your posted pic but I have a similar one without the two wheel struts. I have owned at least four or five all different. I think yours is like my favorite I still use but mine has an additional bar in center for more shovels. I have a two piece Wheel Horse cultivator set but it is mostly good for showing not working! I prefer my nine tine cultivator with a mix of shovels! The white Brinly cultivator is one I restored and sold. It has the wedges holding the shovels in place. Parts for those can be found on EBay for restorations. As seen in AC-6 manual , the standards or rods had two different versions for holding them on the cultivator frame. So many two wheel tractors were made after World War II that there are all kinds of pull behind cultivators. Many have cast pieces built in the frame. So I really can’t say which one you have or who manufactured it. The tongue to hitch link may be best bet in identifying your cultivator. Duckthumper 6 #6 Posted July 7, 2021 I agree that mine most closely resembles this one of yours. With the exceptions being, the spades are connected with a system more like an AC-6, the side arms are bent rearward were the wheels attach, and the hitch is really neither slot nor sleeve. More like a pin through. That is the one area that may have been modified. Mine also only uses a single bar for the center portion, that forms the tung and the center spade mount, instead of the two C channels that yours is using. I currently have an AC-6, an AC-7 and a Brinly like yours. What is the one below called. I have not seen any info on that one.
