formariz 11,987 #1 Posted June 30, 2021 I wonder if an engine like the 20HP Onan has a higher fuel pressure requirement than a single cylinder engine. Does any one know the fuel pressure required for it?
Daron1965 644 #2 Posted June 30, 2021 I may be wrong, but if memory serves me correct, it should be around a constant 1 to 2 psi with an electric low pressure pump.
roadapples 6,983 #4 Posted July 1, 2021 (edited) I like the Facet 40177N. Its 1-2 psi. Says it interchanges with Kohler part number 2539301. A little salty at $63.71 on the Bay or DB Electrical, but made in NY, US of A.... Says it pumps 7 gal per hr. Even the big 20 ain't that thirsty... squonk 41,153 #5 Posted July 1, 2021 You can buy the Facet pump at Napa #610-1051 and buy local and help keep a store open. A couple bucks more but if there's a problem you can at least deal with a person face to face. As opposed to giving Evil Bay or Amazon more business. Nothing wrong with saving a few bucks but I'm getting tired of businesses closing because of the internet. 5
oldlineman 1,481 #6 Posted July 1, 2021 (edited) My feelings exactly, and it comes with bolts and fittings, $66.00 and change at my NAPA ,lets help keep local shops open, and our venders also. I always thought that local establishments and their employees help me pay local taxes and such, why send our money to foreign countries. So essentially regardless of size and fuel consumption all these engines require the same fuel pressure? I thought that the Onan would be a little more demanding. 11 hours ago, roadapples said: I like the Facet 40177N That is the one I always use. Always got it from PEGASUS at $61.99. They actually always have every model from Facett available with clear information about every one. One thing that concerns me now is that they are no longer marked "Made in USA". On The box it says "Assembled in USA" ????????? 2 hours ago, squonk said: You can buy the Facet pump at Napa #610-1051 and buy local and help keep a store open. Nothing real close anymore.

My local Toro dealer closed right before covid hit. The local Napa owner is buying out area parts store and consolidating locations I don't think he's going out anytime soon. It only lasted 6 months and closed for good. Building still vacant.
