WH1618speed 535 #51 Posted August 15, 2021 Hey y’all! It’s been a while but here’s some updates… I got the engine mounted and attached all the guards for the engine. Also started color sanding the hood and seat pan. Got some decals on. Also changed the hydro and engine oil. I fixed the oil drain so it doesn’t leak. It’s running well but I noticed the tube from the engine to the engine fill cap is leaking oil but I will just fix that up with some Teflon tape. Overall it’s coming together nicely!

So to get a little more life outta them I put n95s OVER the pod. Let THOSE get red! My 3m respirator takes pods with the two-part filter--outer for dust-sized particles and inner for those even smaller particles that make up the fumes--so that I can replace the outers more frequently. Pricey, yes, but it's always a shock when I'm finished painting, I've aired out the space and then take off the mask and I can still smell the outgassing paint!

peter lena 8,604 #56 Posted August 15, 2021 @WH1618speed thought I would complement you on your work , and offer you a suggestion to a known issue, looking at the top of your dash area, look at the end of your PTO lever, notice all the washer less end play ? that lever rides on the battery ground rail , I added 3/8" teflon/steeel washers to the end area as well as lubrication , tighten up that lever makes engagement solid firm , also added another engine ground , from the same ground rail ,that battery grounds to , to corner of engine to frame bolt , used 4 ga battery cable . makes electrical issues go away . pete
peter lena 8,604 #57 Posted August 15, 2021 @WH1618speed found it , did this a while ago , added this to my 3 horses , note 1st and last photo , look at all the washers I added to the pto lever , to make it snug , last picture shows' ground cable mount from engine to frame edge , connects to battery ground point , also note battery tender plug in on choke cable , for quick easy plug in , pete 1

WH1618speed 535 #75 Posted January 20, 2022 (edited) Got some snow a few days ago and here is her being put to use!! That old Kohler puts out the power!! It's a gas hog though using the snow thrower. Not pictured here, but I put on some 4-link v bar chains on 10.50 tires and that did the job for traction. Next thing to get would be a cab for sure!
