Uxtractor 8 #1 Posted June 30, 2021 Good day, I was hoping some one would know what attached to the small hole at the end of the arm please ? The curved part rides on the deck and the the piece fits on the shaft okay but looks like there might be a missing part maybe a rod or something ? Otherwise making good progress found a mostly complete Kohler 12 hp engine and a junk yard 14 hp also a 1969 but with the older type generator starter and a odd A type oil pan ,made a lift hook so the middle section lowers and raises okay and that part does fit the deck so it should mount up one day . Uxtractor 8 #6 Posted July 1, 2021 Thank you gentlemen I just came back in finished today with new exhaust and think I have a shroud that will work on the engine , I have everything in four piles right now engine,mower deck,tractor and the lift adapter . When I get stuck for parts or " what is this " I shift to something else , it was and is a parts tractor it was robbed out and ready to be scrapped but it keeps me busy . I have downloaded your pictures and thanks again this makes it clear maybe not as much missing as I thought .Sent the PTO disk out to be relined as it was down to the brass rivets and the drive ilder might be here Friday . Uxtractor 8 #7 Posted July 2, 2021 Okay I did find the pivot link okay it was in a old cardboard box that came with the tractor lucky it did not fall thru, so all good the drive is on , that schematic looks like my setup I think I downloaded the wrong manual .Can you when you have time please provide a link to that deck ? Engine is coming along all the PTO stuff seems to be there ,going to take another look at the deck it is very well made and no rust but the front roller is missing so I need to figure the diameter of it and pick one up . The belt on the deck is in great condition another missing bit is the PTO to centre pulley does anyone know that belt length ? It would save me a trip to the hardware store I need to get the 82 " drive belt . About the front drive that does look nice but I kinda like original and of course don,t have the bits needed either think for the first year round all the missing parts get a engine running try spinning up the deck and go from there .
