Found this old backup lamp in a box...

This was in one of my FIL's junk boxes.  I was ready to bin it but thought, WTH, why not take some metal polish to it?  Sorry, no 'before' pics...

 

The Brillo pad did wonders, so I disassembled it and polished and cleaned every thing, and fitted a nice long teflon insulated pigtail to the original lamp assembly (which takes a 1034 bulb which is still good!).

After three hours of restoration, this is what it looks like now.

 

 

 

It came out really nice, a little pitting of the chrome base, and some chips on the lamp head, but overall very nice looking and now I'm wondering what to do with it! 

 

I thought about mounting it on my machine, but it would serve no real purpose.

 

So I wondered... if anyone on the forum would be able to use it.  And couldn't figure out what category to post it in for sale.  Any suggestions?
