Jeff-C175 7,203 #2 Posted June 21, 2021 Hi Graham and WELCOME! Show us pictures of the tractor as well,
Graham529 16 #3 Posted June 21, 2021 Hi Jeff, thanks for the welcome, it’s currently sat outside under a sheet at a relatives house. It’s in a pretty bad state and I’m looking to restore it back to its former glory. will add photos when possible to get to it. As I remember it looked pretty much the same as this picture I found on the internet that I have attached. many thanks
stevasaurus 22,959 #4 Posted June 21, 2021 If you look below the B-100 sticker, you will see a blackish sticker...that has the model and serial numbers on it. Of course, the B-100 identifies the horse above. Welcome to Red Square.
Graham529 16 #5 Posted June 21, 2021 Thanks for the info 👍🏻 Next time I’m near it I will have a look 👀 sadly it’s been brush painted and I think most of the numbers have been painted over!

"They all look alike to me!" and when I spend hours working on my machine, she might say; "You know, that's ONLY A LAWNMOWER, right?" But seriously, "pretty much the same" could describe a plethora of different models and permutations of a Wheel Horse. I think G.D. Moonfield Ltd. must have been the distributor back in the day. Mrs. Google turns up nothing on that exact name though. As Steve said, there should be a metal plate with the WH information on it, it may have been painted over though as it appears the Moonfield sticker nearly has been. Graham529 16 #7 Posted June 21, 2021 I can appreciate that there are a multitude of variants on these 😮 I’ll have a good look around again, hopefully I will be able to find the plate with the numbers on and strip the paint off! there is a lot of work to do on it, but having driven it around as a child I think it’s definitely worth saving 😃 1
stevasaurus 22,959 #8 Posted June 21, 2021 Use Acetone and a rag to gently wipe and soften and remove any paint on a sticker or ID plate. You will not harm a sticker if done gently..

pfrederi 18,090 #14 Posted June 21, 2021 (edited) Looks like a 1978 C-121 Engine spec number should be 47648D (But things sold in Europe may be different) Edited June 21, 2021 by pfrederi

The metalwork is in pretty poor shape especially under the seat! You can put your finger straight through the rust! But like you say It’s all repairable and I’m very excited about the project 😃

I once dated a girl whose father wouldn't let her ride in my car. Said she needed a tetanus shot first! Was it used for mowing? Is there a deck with it? Looks like the mule drive is new! The mule drive has been used it looks like it was removed and painted but never put back on
