Jrain 276 #1 Posted June 21, 2021 Getting closer now to getting my scrap yard find 100% sound , other then needing front tires (dry rot) and the Tie rods are a touch worn maybe 3/8'' play I will then begin to the transformation in to making this WH in to a gravel road maintainer , I stopped back over my scrapper friends place yesterday to pick up a few things I saw last time I was there , I picked up a set of wheel weights and a nice seat from another WH also a very nice 36'' mower deck that he said came along with the c120 I got from him , and also few other things for the transformation I am about to start ,but did get the wheel weights and seat on today and gave it a well deserved power wash. 1 10 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

Jrain 276 #4 Posted June 21, 2021 2 hours ago, rjg854 said: Someone actually scrapped that Oh yes you would not believe what good things people scrap , I try not to go over to my friends to often because there is something I always want to take home ,it has taken me 20 years to understand that all my friend sees it weight because that is how he make his living he gets paid by the pound . last year year I pulled out of a pile he had there 2011 generac 10 k generator with only 80 hours on it ,took it home cleaned the carb ,new spark plug ,oil and filter, air cleaner ,charged the battery and she fired rite over runs like a dream and now I can power my entire house in power outages . he has a B80 sitting there I told him to hold it I might take it ,paint wise it looks better then the c120 I saved paint wise it still retains a glossy finish. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
