8ntruck 7,068 #6 Posted June 20, 2021 You have come to the right place to learn about everything Wheel Horse. I'm convinced that the aggregate membership of this forum has broken and fixed just about everything on a Wheel Horses that can be broken and fixed. Always good to see another fellow Michigander join.
Bluesman 13 #7 Posted June 20, 2021 Thanks for the warm welcome! I bought my 1963 back around 95 for $35. It literally came in pieces in milk crates. Sand blasted, primered and painted, replaced every questionable component available. Rebuilt the non original Kohler engine too. It looked brand new when finished and I hated mowing with it the first time.
rmaynard 15,580 #9 Posted June 20, 2021 Let's talk about your name "Bluesman". Do you play the blues, or just love the blues? If you play, what instrument?
Bluesman 13 #10 Posted June 20, 2021 Hi Maynard, My musician family started calling me that over 30 years ago. I started playing guitar just as the Beatles Let it Be album was released. I also play harmonica. Love playing 12/8 meter blues such as The Allman Brothers Stormy Monday, Jimmy Page Prison Blues and Little Walter covers. 4

tunahead72 2,424 #12 Posted June 21, 2021 Welcome aboard @Bluesman I'd love to hear you play sometime, but first I need to go listen to some Jimmy Page. And thanks to Bob @rmaynard for asking the question I wanted to ask.
rmaynard 15,580 #13 Posted June 21, 2021 @Bluesman That's cool. I have always been a fan of the blues. My SiriusXM radio in my truck is set to BB King's Bluesville. I played bass in a blues band when I was in the Coast Guard, but never pursued it after I got married.
