formariz 11,987 #1 Posted June 19, 2021 So as I posted before the little woman has taken a liking for the tractors starting to display them all over and embellishing them with flowers pots. The other day she comes from the supermarket and hands me a cool looking gadget which is a barbecue cooking timer. She tells me that she saw it and realized it is almost the same color as tractors and that it would look cool like a gage on the big guy( the 520). Naturally I couldn’t say no so there it is in all of its glory. I now can keep time on the mowing up to one hour. formariz 11,987 #12 Posted June 19, 2021 Not that I ever cared on how long it takes me to mow the lawn, but this new device actually is pretty useful in determining more efficient ways of doing it. My property is a bit complicated since it has many hills curves and odd areas so I really never mow it in a regular manner by just going back and forth in regular rows. Rather I just go over it following the contours essentially mowing it twice since essentially I basically make figure 8s while doing it. I almost never stop tractor or reverse it. I also do it differently each time and now using the timer I can see which way is more efficient.
