20x10-8 Ag Tires On front of 18 Auto/D-Series

Recommended Posts

"Manic-Mechanic"

I have a pair of 20x10-8 ag tires on my zero turn for traction along the bank of a pond, however, they are slowing me down too much on the flats. So, is it worth it to mow the one pond bank? No. So, thinking about putting them on the front of my 18 Auto for better turning and mobility in the Snow. Has anyone used this sized wheel on the front of a D or 18 Auto? Concerned about turning and clearance around the tie rods before they are mounted on the rims!

They should fit fine.

You may have some tire bulge and the front end will be higher

Their on the same size rims now bulge not too bad, plus I raised the rear already. I noticed that they are wider than the rears!

I just looked a bit closer and noticed the tie rods are only about 1/4" from the current factory size 18x8.50-8. So the inner offset of the rim would need to be different. Too much work. They are large it would be a beast. Lol! :confusion-confused:
