Pullstart 62,921 #1 Posted June 12, 2021 This looked like a tiny mouse with huge wings. Found it in the grille of Grandpa’s truck after our trip to FL and back. My fat fingers and a 5/4 deck board shown for size reference...

It had chipmunk/mouse style hair, but much shorter of course. 55 minutes ago, Crazyredhorse said: looks like a hummingbird moth we get them in tree my back yard 2 to 3 inchers 42 minutes ago, ebinmaine said: That was my thought. Is it covered with short little hairs? possibly. I looked up pictures of different species but didn’t see the same thing. It was covered EB. Funny thing, the way it was covered it didn’t look like just a head... but like that was the entire bug. Tiny body, huge wings. 42 minutes ago, Ed Kennell said: Looks like a Hexipod Mortim Mori. 22 minutes ago, SPINJIM said: Dead bug ?
