Creapy8x 7 #1 Posted June 10, 2021 Not sure how to word this exactly but I’ve recently figured I’ve got myself a semi bastardized tractor, a week or so ago I went an picked up what was believed to be a raider 12 wheel horse that came with an owners manual for an 800 special! But with the help of Bob and a photo list of model numbers with description of said tractor, I found the placard on my wheel horse with the model an serial numbers and come to find that mine is a 1968 raider 9! With that being said the tractor 🚜 I’ve got was supposed to have the Tecumseh engine an mine has the Kohler motor an it’s got the raider 12 hood!! With all that being said I’ve got a rototiller implement that I would like to use for my garden but I was told I’m missing the correct pulley setup under the belly plus my lift cable is broken!

gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,033 #6 Posted June 11, 2021 I have no tiller experience either but if we can trust the parts list illustrations I think the tiller you have is a 1975 tiller model 7-1252 Uses tiller hitch 104757 104437 rear shield mounted on 104438 rear piano hinge [Drive belt # 1599 (HA x 139.00in 1/2" x 139") If used on later twin-cylinder models use belt # 103635 which has been replaced by # 110265 (1/2" x 141.00")] Only model to use that hitch with a rear piano hinge for the shield. Will let others explain the belt idler system and what will work. Back in the day your tractor used 2 drive belts to get to the tiller. A snow/dozer blade from 1973 and newer uses the same rear axle quick hitch as the tiller. Have the hitch illustrations posted here. Click on the tiller picture to see them and a list of all the tillers in produced order. Garry Adding - Sorry I did not save the illustrations I added so did again and are now there.

If your tiller didn't come with all the parts to operate it you can place a wanted ad in out classified section or contact Lincoln at A-Z Tractor. https://a-ztractor.com/
