Battery Gauge pegged to the right

Recommended Posts

3Horses

Hello, Can someone please try to help me out. My 95 520h is having battery charging issues. The new voltage regulator I put in has 12.4 volts on all 3 spades Is this normal. Also I keep blowing the 15 amp fuse. I have put new ignition coils in, new voltage regulator, checked wires etc. I really need help figuring this one out. Plus the battery gauge is pegged to the RIGHT.

Thanks, Jake

Sounds like you have a bad voltage regulator or some of your wires going to it are shorted together. Remove the terminal from the regulator, turn on the key and see what the voltage on each wire is.

Oh I got it. Remove all 3 and check the wires themselves. Ok I'm going to try.
