New hitch on 876

Recommended Posts

Just installed my new hitch on my 876 I got off eBay :greetings-clappingyellow: I had to remove the slot hitch but the pin was easy no tools required except snap ring pliers because of rebuilding the differential recently:banana-wrench: Now I can swap balls easily :laughing-rolling: May take longer to get there but I can save gas on long trips :laughing-rolling: Watch out for the stops though :auto-swerve:

Yes and :thanks: that's why I posted the above comment. I'm well aware of that and will only go slowly on flat ground mainly to go from point A to point B especially in tight spots :handgestures-thumbupright:

Very nice!  Now that you got it hooked up to that giant trailer we gotta know how much hay it can move...start filling it up... :)

I got one of those a few years ago. Been on several tractors now.

I'm in the process of building a very HD version of the same type.

The only downside to mine is that the square for the ball mount is the wrong size.

My 2" ball mounts flop all around in there.

It..... Works....

I found if I'm careful to keep the hitch end heavy it moves much less.

Don't have any hay to haul but I can fit lots of horses in it:handgestures-thumbupright: It has an 18' x 8' bed :banana-linedance: Big Show is coming soon maybe @pullstart can teach me how to load it :eusa-think:

Now that you mentioned it mine seems loose too :eusa-think: Oh well, just using it to move trailers short distances anyway:handgestures-thumbupright:

I've never tried but I've thought about taping a small piece of flat stock to the ball mount to tighten things up a skosch.
