Hopefully, someone smarter will chime in. Thanks! I used big channel locks and zip ties...it worked! The pin looks slightly bent. I'll probably replace it if I can find one. Back then, a spring compressor was a lower priority than a tank of gasoline and I pumped that glorious red 93 Exxon at the Rockaway Mall Exxon. 42 years ago. Anthony P 5 #30 Posted September 4, 2021 IT RUNS!!!! Replaced the retainer pin...it looked a little bowed. Cleaned out the carbon, put it all back together, and IT STARTED RIGHT UP!!!
