Back about 25 or 30 years ago I had a 79 Camaro that I bought knowing it needed a transmission. I got several used ones from the same salvage yard. Took me four installations to get a good one. The guy was really great about it and gave me a new seal kit and fluid for all four. By the time we got to the third and fourth one we were just bench pressing it into place instead of bothering to use a jack. I had a trans mount go bad, allowing driveline vibration that took out a flex plate once. This one, I’m convinced having no bellhousing bolts will do a hurt in a hurry. I know if that truck was here in Maine I'd be Commercial Plates for sure because it's dual rear wheels... Pretty interesting there, indeed! This truck is a 15,000 lb gvwr. Michigan says any dual wheeled vehicle over 10,000 lbs must stop. I’ve never seen a 1 ton dually hauling a camper in a scales stop? Ohio says commercial vehicles over 10,000 lbs must stop Pennsylvania says any and all vehicles are subject to inspection. It was stated a few days back how messed up Michigan’s Secretary of State is right now. I have an appointment for October 18 to get all the dealings done on this thing! Anything registered as Commercial has to go through a weigh station. ALL dually trucks are Commercial here.
