Lets see;       computer chips so that the auto industry can resume production could be a good thing to build.       Just for safety sake we might want to consider bringing medical equipment manufacturing back home too.       Our defense industry relying on computer guidance systems that are made by a likely future adversary never made good sense to me.

Add those that are supported by government programs to those that are directly employed by government, you will see that there is way too many riding in the wagon and very few pulling it.  Remember that the only source of wealth is people actually creating it with their own two hands.
