RJDJ22 0 #1 Posted May 24, 2021 I have a older Wheelhorse/Toro 314-8. Kohler Magnum 14 Model M14s. Spec No. 601559. Died suddenly while cutting. Fuel pump is pumping. Has good spark. Gas spits out the front of the carb. No fuel is entering the cylinder. Pulled head, intake valve is very clean. Will run when spraying gas in carb. I've taken the carb off and sprayed all areas with cleaner and forced air. The carb is discontinued. Float seemed ok. Any help would be appreciated.

The carb is discontinued First thing would be to give that carb a proper soak/clean, needle and seat, and new gaskets. Then recheck operation. Odds are it doesn't need replacement. Likely the Ethanol caught up with it.
953 nut 55,321 #3 Posted May 24, 2021 Ethanol has killed a lot of small engine fuel systems. You can find ethanol free gas at this site. https://www.pure-gas.org/

RJDJ22 0 #5 Posted May 24, 2021 (edited) Spark plug is not wet. I will take another look at the float. Edited May 24, 2021 by RJDJ22 added info
