Mickwhitt 4,875 #26 Posted May 31, 2021 Inspired by this thread I went out to capture some of our local plant life on the community land we manage. Couple of red and black beetles nestling in the leaves of this one. Always get a rash from being nettled by these, but were and still are eaten by foragers OK I'm no plant expert but there are loads of these. We were always told nettle stings were calmed by rubbing them with Dock leaves. Cousin to the stinging nettle but has no stinging cells. I will snap a few more as they come into flower.
