TJ5208 1,824 #1 Posted May 21, 2021 How do you guys take paint and ruts off your rims and tractor I seen that you could spin the wheels and sand what about the tractor itself
Maxwell-8 4,359 #2 Posted May 21, 2021 (edited) I first use a steel brush on a drill or angle grinder. Then sand it smooth using sandpaper. To have the rim turning, we had a garage back in the day and the machine for laying tires up rims is still working, so I use that. And about the tractor itself, I am very curious as I am planning on repainting my black hood in the summer. Don't looking forward to doing this: Edited May 21, 2021 by Maxwell-8
SylvanLakeWH 26,155 #3 Posted May 21, 2021 I also use an orbital sander on the tractor parts that are big enough…

Rusty Tinsnips 477 #5 Posted May 27, 2021 I picked up a cheepo sand blaster at Harbor store. Works great on wheels.
