mort 24 #3 Posted May 13, 2021 All of my information above came from a manual or a Wheel Horse brochure. The 7607 are rear cleat tires. They are not turf tires. I am not wanting to put on chains but just changing tires. Never had cleat tires so not sure how they are on grass (not nice sod). DennisThornton 4,771 #8 Posted May 13, 2021 I've run chains and I've run ag "cleat" tires year round on mowers with no issue. I've done more damage with turf tires when I hit any wet, damp or otherwise slick grassy areas where the greater traction continues rather than spinning and burning up the grass blades. But to directly answer your question, I have no idea other than perhaps someone chose some bad wording and later rewrote it. Buy ags "cleat" tires if you need more traction in dirt or even if you are mowing and have some of those wet or hilly grass areas. 1 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
