Mother’s Day purchase.

My wife wanted out of the house so I took her for a long ride into the white mountains of N.H. and into Vermont. Told her I had to make a quick stop for a tractor part. She said I’m sure you do. Anyway cast iron weights are really cool and I’m becoming a bit infatuated with them. Got these today. And not to worry my wife got a great meal and a rum punch for desert! 50 lbs. Bolens weights and what he called slim weights that can be stacked on the Bolens weights. I believe he said they we’re sears?

Bob those Bolens weights are likely 65 LBS each.

In the second pic. That is the weight that stacks on the Bolens weight. He had them on a Bolens pulling tractor. I believe the stackable weight is a sears weight. At least that’s what he said.

Same ones came with one of my tractors.

 

I've considered filling in the Bolens with bondo or JB putty and giving them a fresh coat of paint.

 

The stackables are pretty neat

I think most of the members respect Bolens and some even own one or two!
