We’ve spent two vacations there in the last few years and love it. Stay in the North end, little Italy, great location and food. There is a lot of history and other neat things to see and do there but never road the “Duck” boat there.

Went there about 35 yrs. ago My sister and I were big Celtics fans. We had tickets to the first game that Bird missed because of his back problems. . Loved the old Boston Garden. My sister always wanted one of those silky green Celtics warm up jackets. They sold them there but she didn't pull the trigger. Next day all we hear is she should have gotten the jacket. We go on the history tour and sure enough we end up at the Garden again. So we go in to buy it and there is a Bruins game going on. My future wife needs to use the rest room and it's up in the Garden To get to the Garden from the train station we had to go up this big wide ramp. We start up and the game ends and here comes about 10,000 Bruins fans. We had to fight our way up to get to the first level where the rest rooms are. She goes in and I'm waiting for her. Security guard comes up and says I have to leave because they have to get ready for Pro Wrestling. I asked him if he knew who the Fabulous Moolah was. He said he did and I told him I'm waiting for her to come out of the restroom and I was her manager. So I got to stay. :)

I did. Inside was nothing like on the show. Kind of cramped.

Handy Don

I can see the Aquarium was a big hit!  Boston has a lot to offer, that's for sure.

I did the Boston Segway tour with my SIL. He treated saying he thought it'd be cool plus he and I enjoy each other's company. I can recommend it, as we learned quite a bit and had fun as well.

Thanks for the memories @ebinmaine
My wife and I spent several days in Boston in the late 1980’s.  I was attending a Doble High Voltage Electrical Testing Conference in downtown Boston We didn’t have a car but made it around on the subway quite well. It was our first East coast experience. (Texas boy rides subway)  She felt safe to travel it during the day and I joined her in the evenings and over the weekend. We enjoyed visiting the Clipper ships at the Harbor, the Aquarium, several historic sites, etc. I think it was that trip that we took a bus to the Salem Witch Trials area. The Boston Marathon was that weekend and we watched some of it from our hotel window. My wife found a large department store that had great prices on discontinued and last season items. She bought a lot of baby clothes and some maturity close for her. I remember this as we had to make a cardboard/duct tape suitcase to fly it home with us.  While  I’m not a big city person we would enjoy visiting there again.
