JCM 9,177 #1 Posted May 9, 2021 Picked this up last Summer because it ran so good, but very ugly. I could see it had a future and so far it has been a fun tractor that doesn't smoke or burn oil and the Eaton 1100 seams strong. I guess sometimes you can't judge a book by it's cover. Still not done playing around and improving things but as I age I just don't seam to be in such a hurry as I used to be. Anyhow some before and after pictures one year later. 2

JCM 9,177 #9 Posted May 10, 2021 I really appreciate all the reactions to this refurb. I just cannot do the total restorations that I did on these WH tractors 30 years ago. Space is a main issue with parts everywhere drying etc, I know you guy's can relate. A few hours here and there does add up though. We all know what pictures sometimes can make things nicer than they really are but on a scale from 1-10 I would rate this as a 2 when I brought it home and thus far I believe it is worthy of a 6 and I'm okay with that. Still more to do to it and get it where I am happy with it. Looking forward to mowing with a Hydro for a change. Thanks all

peter lena 8,634 #11 Posted May 10, 2021 @JCM, agree with the hours adding up , recovering neglect is an ongoing thing , start off with the worst things first , then start to clean it up , then repeat. I don't have any trailer queens , but they are equally solid and dependable, clean paint , everything works , regularly run and serviced . I do not wait for a failure , my regular look overs will find an issue that needs tweaking. nice job on your recovery , pete
