@kpinnc Do you know who made/sells that seat. I like a tall back one's like that too.

Might have to try that. I have 4 women in the house, so I can liberate some and never be suspected! :banana-dance:

I want to make some more like my 310-8 has. They are diamond plate aluminum and have held up great for 15 years. But I no longer have access to commercial shear and brake equipment, so it might end up being something far simpler.

Sorry I missed this earlier- the company is called Seat King, and they are made in Kansas. They are pricey, but not insanely so. The company makes custom seats too.

Yep, they are pricey... but I like the fact that they are made in USA... :USA:

I can say this: the seat is very comfortable, and has great support. Not a squish flat seat at all.

I got mine off of fleabay for $40, so I can't verify longevity. But so far I am impressed. Mine had yellow stitching, but I fixed that with a black sharpie and wiped off the excess with a baby wipe.

I think I found a better footrest than funky grip tape. I forgot I had this stuff, and it needs cleaning up. But this is what I'm starting with.

Be mindful of it's slipperyosity level.

Looks better, but Eric had a good point, does it give equal or better grip? Tractor looks good with them though.

Most definitely better than grip tape. There won't be any barefooted driving on this thing!

@kpinnc  question and possible enhancement , what is the aluminum grid called ? would like to give that a trial usage , noticed the front face side of your dash area looks plastic starved , been using 303 marine grade spray on finish for years ,https://www.amazon.com/303-Products-30305-Recreation-Protectant/dp/B00JREJ9WU/ref=asc_df_B00JREJ9WU/?tag=hyprod-  makes auto trim look like new and fresh , also on my inflatable boat , just keeps vinyl related  trim looking fresh , your horse reflects an interest and detailing care , nice job ! pete

I honestly don't know what it's called. My FIL worked for Ryder trucking for 35 years, and he gave me those panels. He was always bringing stuff home like that.

I'll check that 303 stuff out! Thank you!

@kpinnc can relate , when i used to work , we had portable dump carts all over the plant site to recycle everything , only a matter of getting a signed scrap pass to go dumpster diving , only now , wish i still had more stuff, pete

Me too pete! My wife always complained about me bringing stuff home. She tended to stop when she saw what I did with it later!

And you're right- now I miss having access to the stuff we just threw away so often!

Assuming you'll use this instead of the existing footrest, I'd think it's got possibilities.

Used atop the existing footrest, I'd be very concerned that it would trap dirt and moisture and be next to impossible to keep clean.
