Mower deck leveling

So I got this put on, but now when I lower myower deck the front wheels don't touch the ground? Any help?  I have a 318

Front won't.  Only for antiscalp...

bak106, make a detail point of lubricating all related threading and movement lift points , when the rust runs out , and it moves easier you are getting close. like the side mount lift arm main shaft swing area , look under rear fender area , watch the rust run out , and the total ease of lift action , pete

I have the nut all the way at the bottom of the rod. Hope that isn't too short.  Don't see any rust on mower deck ,but it was somewhat restored so maybe it's hidden behind paint.

Adjust the length so the front of the deck is slightly lower than the rear. With a blade pointed front to rear the front of the blade should be about 1/8" lower than the rear.

So then the front roller wheels won't touch ground like on my old Deere?
