peter lena 8,726 #4 Posted May 6, 2021 bak106, make a detail point of lubricating all related threading and movement lift points , when the rust runs out , and it moves easier you are getting close. like the side mount lift arm main shaft swing area , look under rear fender area , watch the rust run out , and the total ease of lift action , pete
Bak106 8 #5 Posted May 6, 2021 I have the nut all the way at the bottom of the rod. Hope that isn't too short. Don't see any rust on mower deck ,but it was somewhat restored so maybe it's hidden behind paint.
pfrederi 17,882 #6 Posted May 6, 2021 Adjust the length so the front of the deck is slightly lower than the rear. With a blade pointed front to rear the front of the blade should be about 1/8" lower than the rear. 2
Bak106 8 #7 Posted May 6, 2021 So then the front roller wheels won't touch ground like on my old Deere?
roadapples 6,983 #8 Posted May 6, 2021 No, only if the ground is really unlevel..
