formariz 11,987 #1 Posted May 5, 2021 I am a little embarrassed to say but I forgot what type of shrub this is. After all I only panted it years ago. Beautiful showers of clusters of white flowers that then turn into thousands of red berries attracting hundreds of birds. 4

It does have an unusual name. The funny thing is that I had left the tag on it until a couple of years ago and the branch was growing over it so I finally removed it. I know that it is deer resistant that is why I bought it.

Wheel Horse 3D 3,795 #7 Posted May 5, 2021 or Vibernum Shasta, yeah I think yours is a Shasta the leaves are a little rounder than mine
Wheel Horse 3D 3,795 #8 Posted May 5, 2021 Kinda cool how the petals group around the center, like a flower of flowers.

Wheel Horse 3D 3,795 #10 Posted May 5, 2021 Mine might be a shasta, but I recall the leaves being shaped thinner like a lantana. But the petals on mine are large like the Shasta.

Since you guys brought that up, let me share my story about that. From as long as I can remember to about my early 30s I never really knew when a cold stopped and an allergy began or vice versa. It was constant misery through out the whole year with constant sneezing, runny nose which would always be raw and many times bleeding. Overseas on vacation was twice as bad, and I could only sleep sitting up. Constantly running to the doctor and always medicated on all kinds of crap to provide a little relief . Then , I really am not sure exactly when, but it was in my early 30s , it just stopped period. I have no idea why. Since then I have not even caught a cold. Pollen, no problem . No itchy eyes , no sneezing , absolutely nothing. The only thing that sometimes bothers me by congesting me a little bit is if I disturb "old Dust" like if cleaning an out of way area in shop. That only lasts about six hours or so and then its gone. Fresh new shop dust no problem.

Dentatum is a cluster of smaller flowers closely spaced.
