Steering parts for520H

I have a 92 520h that I need to replace the ball joint / tierod ends. Has anyone ever crossed over to an automotive part number?

I doubt it, but several of the vendors here on the forum offer reproductions.  Not sure of the fitment on a 520 though...

 

 

Seems the 520 uses heavier TRE's.  Lowell has them:

Yeah, the 520 uses automotive-style ones. Kind of overkill on a typical garden tractor, but the 520 is all about overkill... :lol:

But good for use with an FEL, or just hanging the weight of the 2-stage snowthrower off the front end. Upgrades not needed that way.
