Rain and cold… no paint today…

 

But…! Got a goodie bag from @Vinylguy!!! Full decal set for the C 85 and some fun ones for the Agrifab “Wheel Horse Wanna-bee” trailer. As always, quick and great quality!!!

Blue painters tape. Very slowly… Pressed tight only at the leading paint edge. The 4 curves were done with several small pieces overlapping to get the curve… Sorry I didn’t get a pic…

Quality not even close to @BHunter and his crew… I am going for a decent look but primarily to stop the rust… I am not a detailed paint guy… I’d be in the corner of his class with the pointy WH hat on…

Also got a goody bag from wheelhorsepartsandmore… things are coming together…

Had some shop help in from out of town… needed the expertise and muscle to remove the wheels for painting and new shoes… they showed me how to use a c clip remover, impact driver, socket wrench and a lift… I had to pay them, as usual, with a  ride and pizza…

Decided to repair the original fender pan… keep it original for a bit longer until I break it for good…

 

A big thank you to @cafoose for offering a metal pan and to @pullstart for volunteering to get it to Michigan from the Big Show… I greatly appreciate you offering!!! I’m guessing it’ll be used by someone else - perhaps @pullstart can expand his Black Hood collection at the show…

Major progress today!

 

New fuel line and filter.

 

New front wheel bearings installed.

 

Put her all back together…

 

And…

 

She floats!

Still lots of fine tuning, but I’m happy with how it all came together…
