The Notsogood:

No spark.

Trans had 2 quarts of water and 1/2 quart of mocha colored sludge…

Trans is leaking a bit from the drive pulley shaft.

Front wheels have a wee bit of play in the bearings…

The seat…:hide:

Welcome to my world Sylvia...... we have faith in you tho!

That fender looks like it’s in good shape still.

Unfortunately not so much… it’s been repaired several times and has a big chunk missing in back, along a major crack system… :(

No worries though… As you may observe if you look at the Noble Black Hood gracing your stables… I’m known for going fenderless on occasion… :scared-eek:

Run a dollar bill through the points a few times to clean the oxide off and see if you get spark. Be careful and not use bigger bills. You might give the horse the impression your a big spender and it will want new parts.

I typically don’t look to see what’s hanging out...

I've seen tractors a lot worse than that with $500++ price tags on them around here. That looks like a good worker to me.

If that's the case, Mike, maybe we should bring some more tractors to the show, if he's got money burning a hole in his pocket.

@SLYVANLAKEWH, bought my 82-c85 new in 82, still have it , you can just go after the most obvious make it work issues or make it into what ever you want. my last upgrade was 2 years ago , with a good magnum 12 , swap and electric fuel pump , use it regularly , kept in a shed , and coming on 40 years , think i will keep it , pete

I luv the black hoodies except for the side view front end. There is just too much overhang in front of the axle so I trimmed it down. Other changes to my personal liking is Krylon Red Cherry paint and the decal colors are reversed.

Nice modification @giddyap, but I think the big honkin’ hood has grown on me a bit over time.

Heads up.. krylon changed the formula on the current production of cherry red. The last 2 cans I bought were much lighter shade.  The part # has changed so if you look close you can tell them apart.  8955 is the old 5511 is the new.

6 months ago when I first started using it, I bought the last two cans with the rotating fan spray found on the premium "Ace Hardware" brands. I searched high and low for that spray nozzle but now it only has the conventional round spray pattern. My guess Krylon could have infringed on someone's property rights? Anyway I used all the same product. Thanks for the info and I hope I added to the story.

Today’s progress…

Ordered decal set from @Vinylguyfor the C-85 and my new to me Agrifab but Wheel Horse Wannabee trailer!!!

Hood sanded. Ready for primer. Decals came off like a breeze using hair dryer and s l o w l y peeling them off just behind the hot air…

Seat down to metal… evaluating possible use as old style metal seat, with some anti-hemorrhoid bolt rearrangement…

Possible metal fender pan coming my way from @cafoose via @pullstart Trucking from the Big Show…
