:text-welcomeconfetti: To Red Square!

Take good care of it, and the 520H will probably outlast the zero-Turn!
Plenty of helpful folks here for whenever you have questions about maintenance or repairs.
And if you ever find you need a manual or parts list, you'll find 'em here too! :handgestures-thumbupright:

@SASQUATCH TERRIFIC SCORE ON THAT , AND WITH A  NEW BLOCK TO BOOT !  note you want to clean it up , very simple easy thing you can do is a aerosol penetrating oil rub down with a clean cloth. feeds the paint , stops rust ,cleans off the grunge , I  rub it down till dry, let it rest a couple days , and do it again , watch it shine , and shed water like its just waxed. another thing that does is to increase your interest and want to do more.  a very thorough  BASELINE SERVICE , basically anything that needs lubrication , as well as transmission oil and greasing , along with a total wiring check ,for cracks or corrosion . others will chime in , glad to have you on board , have fun , pete

So he told me in the last few years he has done the engine block, brand new tires front and rear which they still have the **** on them, gave me a new belt which i installed the next day after bringing it home, all fluids recently change and everything is grease. Also kinda laughed b/c 2 days after using it i noticed it was overcharging which ended up being the regulator. He said he disconnect the Tach bc it was doing wierd things so once i replaced the regulator that started working again. Battery voltage is charging at 14.7 to 15 volts per DC meter but the gauge is showing well over 16VDC so guessing the gauge is bad.

Analog voltage gauges on the 520s are not precision instruments. They are there, basically, to distinguish between "All good, hmmm, and uh-oh".

thanks right now it's reading uh-oh but my meter is reading good to go. Has anyone replaced the analog meter with another analog or digital meter before. I don't like the digital in such an old nostalgic machine but accuracy would be better.

Did the same with my 175 for $300.  Plow, chains, weights, deck, and tractor.  That was in '92.  And I STILL work (from home) there!  ;)

Sure, any gauge of the correct diameter will fit. I installed SW gauges from the early 80s on my C-125. A volts gauge is a volts gauge...

The amp gauge is auto-level (60 amps) so fairly useless but you can just see it move...looks good and is a match to the more useful Volts gauge - and they were leftovers in the drawer.

I bought a set of Bosch gauges from Advance Auto last fall for my C175.  They'll fit your 520.  If you have a Harbor Freight near you, you can get some gauges from there as well.  My 520 has their oil pressure gauge and ammeter in it.  I am not typically a fan of the ammeter but it looks better than an empty hole.  But nice find on your 520!

Yeah he got him a new kubota diesel and has enough money not to worry about what profit he made. Lol
