What is this tractor worth?

My grandmother is going to sell her late husbands Wheel Horse c-161. She wants the extra space in her garage. It comes with a working snow thrower and mower deck, also spare tires w/ chains. She still has original paperwork and manuals for it, and every service record and invoice related. I told her I would help her sell it, I just don’t know much about the value of these. Any reasonable help as to what to list it for would be very much appreciated. 
I think the tractor is really cool I just don’t have the space in my building either!

  Some would say $650-800 is my guess.  Maybe more, depending on market in your area.  The tractor looks very well cared for.  It’s a shame you don’t have room to keep it in the family, they often prove to be much more valuable than their worth if that makes sense!  Does it run and operate currently, or has it been sitting too long to fire up?

Thanks for your response. It runs, it was used to clear the snow off the driveway the last few winters. Can fire right up to move out of garage

Here in PA, that tractor with the big 16hp K engine in very good condition is going for $500 this time of year. Made in 1978-79, and one of my favorite bullet-proof Horses.  Looks like it was restored recently.  The mower deck, $200.   The snow blower, $250.   As a package, I'd price it just under a thousand, or a little less for a quick sale.  Nice tractor, and well maintained.  Good luck.

It has been re-painted, but it looks nice and clean.  Horse $700-$800, Blower $250-$300, Mower $150-$200.  It looks worth a $1,000 especially if all you have to do is load it up.     You could list it in our "Classifieds / For Sale" section.

Totally different part of the states here - N La - and even with our very limited selection of horses here ----- I would have to go along with stevasaurus on his suggestion. (course we dont have much need for a snow chunker!!)

 

Has had a repaint, but looks to be very well done - no overspray that I can see. To me thats another indication that its been taken care of .... and it shows.

 

Dang nice tractor, and yep, that model is in the top 3-4 best horses out there!!

  i would say that you have some good stuff going right there. Two years ago, a guy sold one like that for 500,00 in Troy, Ohio. A good middle class town in Miami County. He had a blade and deck. The plus factors for your tractor are the ag tires, painted wheels,. The paint job on the body is OK, but orange peel takes away from that especially on the hood. To prep it for sale, I would degrease that deck and snow blower and rub in a coat of Marvel Mystery Oil.. Since the deck is off the tractor, scrape the underside very well and perhaps wire brush it  and oil or paint the inside. Quick things to do that makes yours a standout tractor

   Just guessing from the fact that she has the original sales receipt that the mower just lived in town and mowed a town lot.. In Ohio, that is about 32 -40 times a season plus some winter duty. You could calculate all that and come up with a reasonable guess on amount of hours per season..That this tractor has that kind of good stuff is how you can make the sale because your tractor looks like it has low hours and has been maintained.

  I checked Marketplace in Akron and your machine at 1200 would stand out from the rest.  I would bet that you might get that here or maybe a thousand..I would think that communicating by PM on our sales site would be much easier than the madness of trying to sell to the general public.

Based on my recent search across the US, I would not sell for less than $1,000 for the tractor alone.  Then $300 min. for at least each piece.
