Crazyredhorse 295 #1 Posted April 26, 2021 (edited) My deck lift is pretty much junk only lifts couple inches.it has the black cable on it with worn out nylon sleeve over peg that slides in lift mechanism.that has popped out few times.has anyone made there own lift for the newer models? or I was thinking of just going with chains to deck in back to eliminate it. any thoughts?sorry 252h model Edited April 26, 2021 by Crazyredhorse

Crazyredhorse 295 #3 Posted April 26, 2021 Couldn't find no diagrams of the deck thanks.but in fig.7 guide pin sits in lift arm mine just barely fits in and pops out.there doesn't seem to be a front to back adjustment for deck.needs to be back another inch or so.last time it came out busted off sides to front mount #1 and had to weld that back together. now deck just sits on ground all time cable #5 just adjust front up n down I guess but doesn't affect anything when I adjust it.if I put on a chain to pull it back it probly would lift back of deck at flex also side movement.or maybe weld on longer guide pin.or maybe take off guide pin put chain from there right to lift arm.just stumped🤷♂️
Crazyredhorse 295 #4 Posted April 26, 2021 think I figured it out 2 bolt holes on bracket for guide pin on deck.move bracket to back hole n cut off end of bracket move that piece to outher side weld on for front bolt hole if that makes sense :/
