It would probably cost around $100 to just ship it one way to someone like me. That's $200 just in shipping. Depending on what is wrong...well, let's not go there yet. What do you think is wrong with your transmission?? It really is pretty easy and reasonable to do yourself, and we will help walk you through the whole process. oliver2-44 9,760 #7 Posted April 26, 2021 Welcome to another Texan. I see your way up in the panhandle. I’m an hour NW of Austin, so 6 hours away. Wish I were closer! Tell us a little about yourself or what tractor you have. Is the rest of the tractor in one piece. We love pictures. I’ve done 3 different model WH transmissions and they are fairly simple. Since yours has the hubs off and rear hitch pin out your 1/2 way there. @stevasaurus is our resident transmission guru. He has some YouTube videos and write ups that he can point you to. Also once you post pics there’s plenty of help here to identify any parts that need to be replaced and walk you through reassembly in the vendors section you will see A-Z Tractor an excellent used parts source, WheelHorse Parts and More a great source for bearings and seals and a few reproduced gears. Oliver2-44, my property is up in the Panhandle but I live in the Metromess/DFW. My great grandmother lived in Marble Falls. I spent a lot time looking in the window at Burnham Brothers Sporting Goods at the rattlesnakes. Creeped me out to say the least. LOL. stevasaurus 22,764 #9 Posted April 26, 2021 If everything is in a bucket, you have it made. All you need is a 9/16, 1/2, 7/16 & a 1/8" Allen wrench. Lay out the parts and show us a picture. Take a couple of pics of the case halves also. If you put the pictures on a computer, you can then open the thing to post and see "chose files" at the bottom. I will then get pics of trans internals, was going to get that done last night but unfortunately tragedy struck family friend last night. Wellingtontx 69 #22 Posted April 28, 2021 (edited) Shaft measures 1 1/8 inch. Finally re-confirmed Model No.: 10385 9 I now believe that it may be a 1974 C-162 vs. C-160. Decals say C-160 but the Wheel Horse Master Model List says C-162 Anybody know the difference between a C-160 v C-162 ? Note: Just found a prior post from 2011 thats says difference is the Tecumseh engine main difference. Decals say C-160. You might add a close up of that gear There is a gear that had teeth on the inside that mates with the input gear. You might flip that one over and give up a pic of it.
