manant 57 #1 Posted April 23, 2021 The mower blades for my 48" mower deck no 65-48ms01 seem impossible to find. The 3 blade kit part number is 100202 and the blades have a double d center hole and two side holes for pins. Would it be safe to remove the 1/4" spirol pins from the spindle and use a blade with a 3/4"round center hole using a cupped washer and standard bolt? elcamino/wheelhorse 9,297 #2 Posted April 23, 2021 Check with K & B in our vendor section they may have a set of D D blades.
manant 57 #3 Posted April 23, 2021 Thanks, I looked at K&B but did not see any. I posted a request to them but no reply yet.
gwest_ca-(File Mod) 11,033 #4 Posted April 23, 2021 Wonder if the blades are too hard to drill so the pins would still drive them? Use 106637 3-blade set (3/4" round hole) Garry

Are they really the double D ? maybe that is the correct number I don't know. [never mind! I see that is a good number, disregard please.] I can tell you that the blades for my 05-48MS01 from 1980 are in fact 3/4" hole and easily found. We have a fully outfitted machine shop at our disposal so we're a little more spoiled than most when it comes to things like this.
