Triax Synthetic Small Engine Oil

Anyone have any experience with this stuff? Sounds pretty good. Specifically for small engines with high zinc.

Can't say I've heard of it myself. I'll be curious to see what others say.

I switched over to Kinetix oil a couple years ago. Seems fine but I certainly haven't been using it long enough for longevity to be tested.

If I'm careful with shopping I can get Kinetix for about $4 a quart.

I use Shell Rotella 30 all year. Look how clean the inside of this engine is at 980 hours and how nice the crank journal looks. This engine was still running with a broken piston!

Wally world had a ton of the VP small engine on clearance last year. It says Kohler recommended on it.  I scooped up a bunch at $1 a quart, but I'm running low on it now.

It's harder than you think to find a synthetic straight 30 weight. Even more so to find something with higher zinc levels.

I just got a jug in today. I imagine it'll be fine. I just hadn't heard much about it, and all the googling I did turned up stuff about their diesel oil.
