Adamw89 0 #1 Posted April 23, 2021 I have a charger 10 hydromatic wheel horse. I had to pull it back in the garage so i turned the nut ontop of the axel under the seat so it rolled freely. I turned the nut back in now it wont move and wheels remain unlocked
Pullstart 63,096 #2 Posted April 23, 2021 Have you checked the fluid level? I know it sounds silly, but might be overlooked. Also, I’ve seen some tow valves work with 90 degrees of movement, but most suggest 180. The roll pin pointing forward if I recall should be full flow. daveoman1966 3,762 #4 Posted April 23, 2021 Was the tractor runnng and moving correctly BEFORE you pulled it back to the garage? This is the push VALVE on top of the Hyd Pump End Cap. Is this what you turned to allow the tractor to roll freely? You would only have to turn the ROLLPIN just 90 degrees to allow free-roll. However, you still need to roll it SLOWLY. ps... These are the only pic of the PUSH valve I have...from a pump refurb of a few years agol.

squonk 41,321 #7 Posted April 23, 2021 1 inch socket sounds too big. I think you moved the wrong thing!

Was the tractor operating properly going forward but wouldn't go in reverse? Here is a manual that should be helpful.
