I have a feel for it now, but you should fairly easily be able to squeeze them together. You obviously don't want it too loose cuz it will slip. Too tight and it will place unneeded force on all the pulleys. So the easiest way to say it is to make it tight enough that it doesn't slip while mowing... but that's hard to tell sometimes. 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
