Friend gave me this New Idea 403 rake yesterday.  GT-14 had no problem moving it around..  Not sure she will actually make it rake...

Ground driven by the L/H wheel.

You are going to need a baler if you use that on the lawn.  :confusion-confused:

I don't think that you would have any issue making it work behind your GT14. Only issue you might have with the tractor is being able to straddle the wind rows, don't think that it will be quite wide enough.:D

I wouldn't worry about pulling it.I'd worry about STOPPING it,especially if you have any hills at all.Truthfully, that's why bigger tractors are built.

Not to worry I was just kidding about using it for real  Case VAC or DC will get the job.

I am amazed at what the GT14 3pt will lift and how well it will tow something...

Now you're talking.Love those old Case tractors. When I was a kid,a  farmer neighbor   farmed his entire 200 plus acres with 4 or 5 of those old case tractors.I guess that his father had been a Case dealer years before that.Surely a devoted Case man.He had one John Deere B that would come out on rare occasions mostly for pulling a hay wagon.I remember the one Case DC that he would pull a 3 bottom plow with. He'd go the entire length of the field with the front wheels off the ground. As a kid,I thought that was so cool.Oh hell, almost 68 yrs old and I STILL think that's cool.

We had a Case VAC when I was a kid also (60 + years ago).  Had a whittled wood stick in the side of the carburetor to plug a hole of unknown origin.  Always backed up a short hill to park, for ease in starting.  Ran great in spite of all!

It's the only way to live life..

I tell people I tried being a grown up for over 20 years and I didn't like it at all so I reverted back to right around age five. Things have been going much better since.
